Next big thing?
So, we all gorged ourselves on vampires, and then weres (or was it the other way around? I get confused), then weres AND vamps together! then the witches and the Fae/Faerie (especially in the YA books) came along, only to be followed by the beautiful winged ones (Angels with a capital A) and demons…

When freebies go bad
I have had some amazing experiences with the free urban fantasy books on Amazon (the book that opened the door to the Fever series for one, which was also a genius marketing move because I bought the next four faster than you could blink) and then some not-so-good ones. The latest, Grave Illusions by Lina Gardiner, was one of those.

Anyone checked out Urban Fantasy Month on Pocket...
Pocket After Dark is going crazy with UF goodies this month, including free books that you can’t download but you can read online, including the funny Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs. Review: Almost Cinderella meets Shrek- Switched
Somewhere in-between a free sample offer on Kindle and the $0.99 price tag I found myself knee deep in Book 1 of the “Trylle Trilogy” by Amanda Hocking called “Switched”.
